The University of Derby
The University of Derby, formerly Derby College, has a history dating back to the mid-19th century before gaining its university status in 1992. With over 300 undergraduate courses and more than 70 sports clubs or societies to choose from, students are spoilt for choice at the University of Derby.
The university’s central Derby campus is made up of 4 sites: Kedleston Road, Markeaton Street, Britannia Mill, One Friar Gate Square. Most students will find themselves at the university’s central Derby campus as it’s home to most of their courses.
In 2024 the University of Derby was featured for teaching quality in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, so definitely a strong choice for any student.
