This is definitely one of the swankiest bars in Cambridge, and for members only!
Although this isn’t exactly a club per se, it’s still somewhere you need to visit at least once whilst living and studying in Cambridge. Relax on the comfy leather armchair and maybe grab yourself a quick bite of freshly made pizza too whilst you’re at it.
This particular venue is the largest nightclub in Cambridge, and definitely one of the best places to throw some serious shapes!
Named after the Italian verb ‘to dance’, Ballare has an absolutely massive dancefloor with some awesome sound systems and lighting to match.
Open until late every night of the week including Sundays and Mondays, this venue is always super buzzing and ready to kick off your night in style.
Their expert mixologists will rustle you up a tantalizing cocktail in all shapes and sizes, whether you prefer a sweet and fruity cocktail, or something a little more sour, Ballare have got it all.

6. Revolution Cambridge

7. Hidden Rooms
Say hello to this intimate cocktail bar in Cambridge, offering chill vibes and moreish cocktails on Jesus Lane in the centre of the city.
This cocktail bar and lounge has seated service and live music with a super dedicated and friendly team of staff!
Located in the basement of a Victorian era Roman Baths, Hidden Rooms was designed and constructed in 1862 by Sir Matthew Digby-Wyatt.
They a vast array of cocktails as well as cocktail masterclasses if you feel like giving it a go with your pals one evening!
Although this place is slightly more pricey than the others previously mentioned, it’s definitely worth a visit on a special occasion or just when you feel like treating yourselves.
We’d deffo recommend the ‘movie star martini’ with vanilla, passion fruit liqueur and prosecco, very fancy!
