Step into a tropical paradise at Lola Lo after a tough day of studying with your pals and get ready to have a boogie.

Located on Corn Exchange Street, this colourful nightclub has buzzing themed parties 5 nights a week, decked out in hand-carved wood with super cool Tiki booths.

There’s plenty of fabulous student offers to get your hands on, including selected cocktails for just £2.95 – what an absolute bargain! You can grab yourself a Jägerbomb for just £1.50, and if you’re feeling extra brave, a blackfire tequila for the same price.

To beat those Monday blues, head over to Lola Lo’s popular student night ‘Shameless’, with an award winning DJ set playing a mixture of house, chart, and R&B tunes.

On Saturday nights, ‘TIKI DISCO’ is everything under one roof, with delicious cocktails in two rooms, filled with a booming mixture of chart music, R&B, floor fillers and club classics.

Set in the heart of the busy city centre is Vinyl, who will promise to play all your favourite guilty pleasure bangers!

Bringing you all the cheesy tunes with retro, colourful interiors, you’re bound to have a night filled with laughs at Vinyl.

They’ve got plenty of money saving deals for students, which means you’ve got more cash for a greasy kebab on the stumble home. Seriously, what more could you ask for?

It houses seven pre-bookable booths, and four of the VIP areas have their very own private dancefloor offering table service.

It’s time to dust off your flares and get ready to throw some shapes, with plenty of spectacular club nights to get involved with such as throwback Thursday, Zumba, and roller disco!

Fez Club was a hugely popular club in Cambridge that was closed back in January 2021 during the Coronavirus pandemic. Since then, it has undergone a complete refurbishment and re-opened as Mash, an inclusive nightclub with an improved dance floor area. 

It’s the only independent club and live music venue in the city; making it a hot spot for students looking for nightlife in Cambridge. 

Hosting regular events week on week, you’re guaranteed to have a memorable night here with your course or flat mates.

If you fancy something a little more boujee, we’d recommend you head over to 12A Club on Market Hill, which is oozing serious sophistication.

This is definitely one of the swankiest bars in Cambridge, and for members only!

Although this isn’t exactly a club per se, it’s still somewhere you need to visit at least once whilst living and living in Cambridge. Relax on the comfy leather armchair and maybe grab yourself a quick bite of freshly made pizza too whilst you’re at it.

Everybody loves Revs, so it’d be rude not to put them on our list of top places to party in Cambridge!

This individually styled chain bar has nightly happy hours, and a tasty menu filled with comfort food guaranteed to make your taste-buds tingle.

Revolution is pretty much the ultimate venue for any occasion, whether it’s drinks after a tough day at uni or a special birthday!

During the day, head to Revolution Cambridge and experience their brilliant service from the comfort of your own table. There’s a whopping 5 bars to grab a drink from, so no need to wait in massive queues here. 

In the evening, now this is when things start to get lit. Hosting a range of talented resident DJ’s, bookable VIP areas and even cocktail masterclasses, there’s something to suit everyone’s tastes here. 

You can get plenty of moreish cocktails on their 2-4-1 offers too, including a classic espresso martini and mojito.

Say hello to this intimate cocktail bar in Cambridge, offering chill vibes and fab cocktails on Jesus Lane in the centre of the city.

This cocktail bar and lounge has seated service and live music with a super dedicated and friendly team of staff!

Located in the basement of a Victorian era Roman Baths, Hidden Rooms was designed and constructed in 1862 by Sir Matthew Digby-Wyatt.

They offer a vast array of cocktails, as well as cocktail masterclasses if you feel like constructing a drink to suit your taste.

Although this place is slightly more pricey than the others previously mentioned in this list, it’s definitely worth a visit on a special occasion or just when you feel like treating yourselves.

We’d deffo recommend the ‘movie star martini’ with vanilla, passion fruit liqueur and prosecco – very fancy!

Now this particular venue is one to note down if you’re looking for a bohemian vibe intertwined with regular live music events! 

Nestled on Lensfield Road, Tall Trees is super close to our student homes in Cambridge, so expect to be walking (or maybe wobbling) home after a few here with your pals.

It’s a nice spot to listen to some great music, or even to try some of their tasty craft ales. They offer a range of food as well, so it’s the perfect place if you fancy tucking into some delicious dishes alongside all this.
